  • State Archives of North Carolina - Researchers interested in North Carolina history are invited to visit the Search Room and make use of the historical materials in the Archives.  These manuscripts are valuable for historical and evidential purposes and usually are the only copies in existence.  The State Archives of North Carolina is located at 109 East Jones Street, Raleigh, North Carolina, 27601.  Their phone number is (919) 807-7310.
